It's hard working off memories
Different way, different approach
Maybe not so much filling and fixing
But something else
The courtyard was a really clean place when
I was there
There wasn't cracks or bits missing
Maybe that brings in materials that are
dirty but nice (in a way)
The opposite - bringing your own kinds of
dirty
With my work a lot of the decisions are
taken away from me
I just have to choose a colour
The dust line and collection was a complete
surprise
The best part of the work in the end
Then I recreated it
I guess I have to think about the weather
as well!

Human footprint
Human remains
Man made

This was a good chat! It helped me regain focus on the project and raised lots of aspects of my practice I either haven't thought about before or haven't thought about for a long time, some of which I'll expand on in a post of my own.
